The Orillia Home Hardware Building CentreHome Hardware was founded in the centennial year of Canada, 1967 and has become Canada’s largest independent home improvement retailer. Home Hardware Building Centre in Orillia began in 2000. Since then, this building centre has won two prestigious awards. The Home Hardware Store of the Year (2010) and the Community Leader Award (2016). In 2016 Orillia Home Hardware Building Centre’s “dealer-owners”, John Locke and Bill Ecklund, received an outstanding retailer award specially reserved for retailers in Canada, the 2016 Marc Bobichaud Community Leader Award.
